Job Description
A skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed for a contractual role within a school setting located in San Bernardino, CA. This position supports students across various ages and disability types, providing essential therapeutic services directly within the educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required
- Proven experience working in school-based settings or healthcare environments
- Ability to support a diverse caseload of students with varying disabilities
- Strong knowledge of school-related therapy interventions and compliance with educational regulations
Location: San Bernardino, California
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs within the school setting
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress towards therapy goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student IEP (Individualized Education Program) development as needed
Contract Details:
- Contract position with flexible start date (ASAP preferred)
- Hours and caseload details to be discussed based on availability and student needs
