Desired Skills & Experience:

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in California
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and implementation
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and families of diverse backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Assist in the assessment and development of student-specific interventions supporting participation in academic and social activities
• Assist in documenting progress, collaborating on IEPs, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with school policies
• Engage with teachers and families to provide education and strategies that foster student success
• Adapt activities and materials to students individual needs and goals
