Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license/certification in California
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

  • Proficient in implementing individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Proactive, compassionate, and flexible approach to meeting student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students according to established IEPs and treatment plans
  • Assist occupational therapists in assessing students abilities and needs
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members, teachers, and families to optimize therapy outcomes
  • Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, social, and daily living skills essential for classroom participation
