Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Current COTA certification and required state credentials
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Understanding of various types of disabilities and interventions tailored for school-aged students
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Passion for supporting students in achieving functional and academic goals
- Adaptability and commitment to a flexible contract role
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students under supervision of an OTR
- Support the evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to address student needs
- Document progress and adjust interventions as required
- Serve multiple schools and age groups as assigned, with caseload details provided upon placement
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the IEP process
