Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA licensure in California
  • Experience in school or healthcare settings preferred
  • Familiarity with pediatric populations and various types of disabilities
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Effective communication skills when working with students, staff, and families
  • Comfortable adapting therapeutic interventions for different ages and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of an OTR
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress toward goals
  • Facilitate activities to promote fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement strategies in the classroom
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Travel between school sites if needed in the district
