This position is designed for a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) ready to make a positive impact on students lives by addressing functional, academic, and social-emotional needs in collaboration with educators and therapists.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid COTA license in California
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong understanding of therapeutic interventions for a wide range of disabilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to support multiple school sites or diverse caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OTR/L
• Work with students facing disabilities such as autism, developmental delays, orthopedic and sensory processing challenges
• Implement therapy goals within classroom and pull-out settings
• Accurately maintain records, session notes, and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support integrated learning approaches
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to individualized program planning
