Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about helping children and adolescents succeed in their educational journey. Youll serve a diverse caseload across PreK through high school, working collaboratively with an Occupational Therapist (OTR) and other school staff.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license and certification as required by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA)
  • Experience with pediatric populations preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing occupational therapy treatment plans and supporting students with IEPs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage required documentation in a timely manner
  • Personal vehicle suitable for traveling between multiple school locations (mileage reimbursement provided)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Carry out Occupational Therapy treatment plans crafted by the OTR
  • Provide direct support to students during therapy activities and assist with service delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on student progress and services rendered
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and staff to ensure seamless support for students occupational therapy needs
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere that helps students reach their full potential
