Job Description

This full-time, full school year contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced COTA eager to make a meaningful impact across multiple campuses while collaborating with a dedicated school-based team.

In this itinerant position, youll work with students with a range of needsfrom mild to severeacross approximately three different school sites. Youll find strong administrative support, including district-provided supervision, and you will play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

What youll need to thrive:

  • Current, active COTA license (required)
  • IVP Fingerprint Card (required for school settings)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Flexibility and resourcefulness as you travel between assigned school locations
  • Compassionate communication and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners, including those with mild to severe needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized therapy plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
  • Deliver direct therapy sessions and consultative support as outlined in students IEPs
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate OT strategies into the classroom
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
  • Support students with adaptive skills, fine motor development, and sensory processing challenges
