Job Description

As an integral member of the team, youll work directly with students to help develop functional skills, foster independence, and support classroom success through tailored occupational therapy interventions. If you are licensed as a COTA in Massachusetts and have a heart for working with school-aged children, this contract role could be the perfect fit.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active MA COTA license in good standing
  • Experience or genuine interest in school-based therapy and working with K-12 students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Assist with assessments and help create individualized plans for students
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services in classrooms and therapy spaces
  • Track student progress, document sessions, and communicate regularly with staff and families
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support a positive, inclusive atmosphere focused on helping each student succeed
