An exciting full-time COTA opportunity is available in Wilmington, MA, working within a school setting focused on a PreK caseload. This contract position offers engaging work with young learners, providing occupational therapy services to support their developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to PreK students, promoting improved functional skills and participation in school activities.
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with school and regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational strategies.
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of children within the school environment.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
- Ability to organize caseloads and manage time efficiently in a school setting.
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy interventions and school-based practices.
