Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school district near Phoenix, Arizona. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated COTA who enjoys working with students and collaborating with a supportive school-based team.
Position Details
- Full-time school-based position
- Work with students across the school setting
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support students in developing functional, fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, families, and other educational staff
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans and educational goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Qualifications
- Active Arizona COTA license/certification or eligibility to obtain
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their educational and functional goals
