Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) School-Based
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time (MondayFriday)
School Year: 20262027
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) for full-time, school-based positions in Phoenix, AZ for the upcoming school year. Multiple openings are available, offering flexibility in caseload and grade levels.
Open Positions:
- PreK Caseload: Focus on early childhood students in a preschool setting
- PreK8th Grade Caseload: Work with a range of students across elementary and middle school
Caseload Details:
- Approximately 6070 students
- Mix of direct services and consult-only students
- No evaluation writing required (completed by supervising OT)
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT
- Implement IEP goals and treatment plans
- Support students with fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers
- Maintain service documentation and progress notes
Qualifications:
- Active Arizona COTA license
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
