Qualifications:
- Active Arizona COTA license required
- Experience working in school environments strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing caseloads with students from Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Knowledge of supporting students with Autism, Developmental Delays, and Down syndrome
- Familiar with school-based evaluations, goal setting, and documentation
- Able to work onsite 32.5 hours per week across two school locations
- Meets all district and state-specific requirements for school-based therapy professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments and document findings for school-aged children
- Focus on caseloads that include students with Autism, developmental disorders, and Down syndrome
- Collaborate with special educators, other therapists, and families to maximize student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely records for compliance with school and state policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute specialized insight into student needs
