Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting student health and learning in a dynamic school setting near Phoenix, AZ! We are seeking a Contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for the 2026-2027 academic year. Work with a diverse PreK-8th grade caseload of approximately 60-70 studentsincluding consult-only assignmentsto help children thrive through targeted occupational therapy interventions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Arizona COTA license is required
  • IVP fingerprint clearance card
  • Pediatric experience is highly preferred
  • Background in school-based occupational therapy is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students educational goals by providing direct and consultative occupational therapy services
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP goals
  • Monitor progress and document outcomes in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Utilize your expertise to address a range of needs across PreK-8th grade students
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and ongoing professional development
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to confidentiality standards
