Step into a rewarding role as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students throughout a diverse district. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents while collaborating with dedicated professionals in education and therapy.

As a valued member of the school-based therapy team, youll work 37.5 hours per week, providing support across the district to help students reach their fullest potential. Your expertise will aid in implementing therapy plans, monitoring progress, and empowering students to achieve success in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Texas COTA license is required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and student needs
• Passion for supporting student growth and autonomy
• Comfortable traveling between school sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an occupational therapist
• Assist with developing and implementing student therapy goals and interventions
• Conduct group and individual sessions as outlined in student plans
• Track and document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as requested
• Maintain open communication with teachers, families, and other support staff
• Manage caseload that spans across multiple school locations within the district
