Situated near Peoria, AZ, this onsite position offers a meaningful contract opportunity running from November through May 14th, with a consistent weekly schedule of 32.5 hours. Your workweek will typically fall between 8:00 am3:00 pm or 8:40 am3:40 pm, depending on school assignments, providing flexibility within a school-day framework.

As you assist an Occupational Therapist during consecutive maternity leaves, your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining seamless student care. Expect to participate in meetings before or after regular school hours when needed, demonstrating your dedication to both students and staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current, active AZ COTA license required
• Proven experience supporting OTs in a school-based setting
• Commitment to collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to attend meetings outside core school hours as needed
• Thorough understanding of state and district-specific compliance standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students as directed by the supervising OT
• Implement treatment plans and document student progress
• Adapt interventions to meet individualized education program (IEP) goals
• Maintain clear communication with staff and families
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, including pre/post-school sessions
