Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their individual needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in group settings
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, other therapists, and families to maximize student achievement
  • Adapt activities and materials for varied student abilities
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal planning as needed
