This contract position offers the rewarding opportunity to provide onsite occupational therapy services within an educational setting near Oklahoma City, OK. Youll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to student growth and development, working a full-time schedule that allows you to engage with a diverse caseload spanning elementary through high school.
Qualifications:
- Current Oklahoma COTA license required
- Experience or training as a COTA in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the unique needs of students K-12
- Collaborative spirit to work alongside teachers, therapists, and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in developing and implementing student goals
- Support students in improving functional, social, and academic skills within the classroom environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
- Communicate effectively with families, educators, and related service providers
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student evaluations and reports
