Desired Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Delaware license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Experience or interest in working with school-aged children and supporting classroom activities

  • Team-oriented mindset, able to adapt to different learning environments
  • Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the occupational therapy plans developed by the supervising OT
  • Work directly with students to help improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily life activities within the school context
  • Assist with assessments, maintain detailed records, and provide feedback on student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support each students individualized goals
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and school-based initiatives as needed
