Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid Delaware license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in achieving IEP goals using evidence-based occupational therapy interventions
  • Work closely with certified occupational therapists and educational staff to implement therapy plans
  • Document and maintain thorough, accurate records of student sessions and progress
  • Adapt treatment strategies to meet individual student needs and classroom demands
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing student evaluations
