This role focuses on providing critical occupational therapy support, addressing a spectrum of diagnoses within elementary school environments in the Lockport and Crest Hill areas. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Illinois COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license is required
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred
• Skilled in supporting children with a broad range of diagnoses and educational needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing school needs or caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as outlined in students IEPs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Work hands-on with students in elementary buildings, facilitating activities that promote academic access and daily living skills
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to each child
• Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and contribute to IEP planning
