What Were Seeking:
- Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Comfort with individualized education plans (IEPs) and documentation
- Organizational skills and adaptability in a school environment
Your Role Will Include:
- Assisting in the evaluation and development of therapeutic treatment for students under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Supporting students in developing daily living, fine motor, and sensory integration skills
- Providing individualized and group interventions inside the classroom and therapy spaces
- Maintaining thorough records and progress notes in line with school policies
- Collaborating closely with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning atmosphere
