Job Description

This opportunity is for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to provide school-based therapy services within a K-8 environment in Mesa, AZ. Four full-time positions are available, offering 35 hours per week with guaranteed hours and a contract extending through May 27, 2026. This role involves delivering direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, supporting students within multiple school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement occupational therapy treatment plans in accordance with licensed OT guidance
  • Provide direct therapy services to K-8 students, focusing on school-based needs
  • Perform documentation including daily therapy notes and assist with IEP goal tracking
  • Collaborate with on-site OTs, special education teams, and participate in team meetings
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional standards within the school environment
  • Travel between multiple school sites as required, with paid travel time where applicable

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Arizona
  • Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience in school-based settings is beneficial but not mandatory
