Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to support school-aged students in a dynamic school-based setting in Mesa and Phoenix, AZ. This contract position offers 35 guaranteed hours per week with an immediate start and a commitment through May 27th, 2026.

Position Highlights:

  • Four full-time openings: 2 in Phoenix (85017) and 2 in Phoenix (85033)
  • Direct provision of occupational therapy services to K-8 students
  • Assistance with supervising occupational therapy caseloads
  • Documentation and timely completion of daily therapy notes
  • Collaboration with OTs, special education teams, and school staff
  • Possible travel between multiple school sites (paid travel when applicable)

Responsibilities include implementing OT treatment plans under licensed OT supervision, supporting Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals, participating in team meetings, and ensuring professional and confidential conduct within the school environment.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • An active Arizona COTA license
  • A valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • School-based experience preferred, though not required
  • Willingness to work within a caseload model tailored to fit candidate strengths
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply, with supervision and support provided
