Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), with appropriate state licensure
• Familiarity with school-aged populations and educational settings

• A patient, compassionate, and creative approach to therapy
• Ability to organize and document sessions in accordance with school policies

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, in alignment with each student's IEP goals
• Support the Occupational Therapist in planning, implementing, and evaluating therapy programs
• Collaborate with educational staff and parents to ensure therapy goals are integrated into classroom activities
• Track progress and keep accurate records in compliance with school district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and other team conferences, sharing insights on student development and therapy needs
