Job Description

With a 37.5-hour workweek, youll have the chance to immerse yourself in the school community and help students achieve success in their daily academic and functional activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Texas COTA license required
  • Previous experience working with children or in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions based on individualized student needs
  • Commitment to fostering independence and participation in academic routines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, supporting students across the district
  • Implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
  • Track student progress and document interventions in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and related service staff
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, encouraging student growth and engagement
