Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Valid COTA certification and active state licensure
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop positive rapport with students, teachers, and families
  • Proactive problem-solving and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP implementation and documentation

As a valued contributor, your responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out occupational therapy interventions under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist
  • Supporting students in developing fine motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills
  • Collecting and documenting data on student progress towards IEP goals
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to modify classroom activities for individual needs
  • Participating in team meetings and providing insight on students progress
  • Maintaining up-to-date records according to school district guidelines
