Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) for Kansas
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to manage caseloads, document progress, and adapt interventions for diverse student needs
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education processes is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in implementing therapeutic activities and interventions tailored to student needs
• Support students with fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills within the classroom and therapy settings
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of sessions and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input to education teams
• Provide in-the-moment support to teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistency across environments
