Step into the rewarding world of school-based therapy as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a contract assignment near Lowell, MA. Desired Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Active state licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
- Experience working in a school environment strongly preferred

Core Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Conduct group and individual therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks
- Document student progress, maintaining detailed and accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations for student success
- Engage with teachers and support staff to integrate OT strategies in the classroom
- Communicate effectively with parents and families concerning student goals and achievements
