Job Description

Step into an impactful role providing essential therapy support to K-5 students throughout elementary school buildings for a contract assignment onsite. As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), youll deliver services that make a daily difference, collaborating closely with teachers and professionals to nurture each childs communication skills. This leave coverage spans from September 29 through December 23, offering a focused, fulfilling experience during the school semester.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts SLPA license or applicable state credential
  • Previous experience supporting elementary-aged students is highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, flexibility, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative elementary school setting
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy services

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy support to K-5 students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and targeted therapy activities
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student success
  • Adapt to varying school environments within multiple elementary buildings
  • Ensure compliance with district and state regulations
