Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity making a direct impact in the lives of elementary-aged students. This full-time, contract position offers a chance to work onsite alongside dedicated professionals in a supportive environment. You'll be working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, beginning August 13, 2026, and finishing at the close of the school year on June 9, 2027. The role focuses on an elementary caseload at a single school site, providing continuity and deep engagement with your students.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active COTA license in California is required
  • Prior school-based experience is essential, particularly within elementary settings
  • Comfortable managing a full-time, on-campus schedule
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills when collaborating with teachers and staff
  • Confident with general duties as expected of a COTA in an educational context

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators and related service staff to support optimal student progress
  • Document and report on interventions and student outcomes
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation
  • Maintain compliance with relevant state and district regulations
