Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to a dynamic K-12 environment for the 20262027 school year. Located just 20 minutes from Denver, this full-time contract opportunity puts you at the heart of a supportive interdisciplinary team working across multiple school sites.
Essential Background:
- Active state licensure as a COTA required
- Prior experience or strong interest in working within K-12 educational settings
- Understanding of common school-based OT interventions and student needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Comfortable utilizing Zoom for virtual interviews
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy support under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Address typical COTA caseloads, providing services to students across various ages and grade levels
- Assist in implementing individualized educational programs (IEPs), documenting student progress, and supporting therapeutic goals
- Adapt activities and environments to support student participation in classroom and school routines
- Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to enhance student independence and success
