Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Active state license or eligibility to obtain one (if required)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in planning and implementing individualized and group therapy sessions for students
• Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills necessary for school participation
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement therapy recommendations in the classroom
• Contribute to the creation of adaptive strategies and modifications to promote student success
• Engage students in creative, hands-on activities tailored to their needs
