Key Qualifications:

• Current COTA license valid in the state of Tennessee
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Able to implement treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners with varying physical, sensory, and developmental needs
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage schedules and documentation effectively

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting therapy sessions for students as outlined by occupational therapy plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Document student progress and update records in a timely manner
• Prepare materials and adapt activities to maximize student participation
• Support the implementation of strategies to improve students' fine motor, sensory processing, and functional school skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and staff discussions as needed
• Maintain a positive, encouraging environment for all learners
