This full-time, onsite contract role is located near Lacey, WA, and welcomes travel professionals ready to make a difference. Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Open to travel or local candidates
- Commitment to supporting a diverse range of student needs across K-12
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as prescribed by the supervising OT
- Support students participation in classroom and school activities, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of individual students
