Qualifications:

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with occupational therapists, teachers, and support staff

  • Commitment to supporting a diverse range of student needs across K-12

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students as prescribed by the supervising OT
  • Support students participation in classroom and school activities, focusing on fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of individual students
