Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility in Wyoming
• Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally within educational settings
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational abilities, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists
• Support the development and implementation of therapeutic activities and strategies tailored to individual student needs
• Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote classroom participation and student engagement
• Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in school-based OT
