Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license or eligibility in Wyoming
- Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally within educational settings
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and families
- Strong organizational abilities, flexibility, and a proactive, positive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students under the guidance of licensed occupational therapists
- Support the development and implementation of therapeutic activities and strategies tailored to individual student needs
- Track and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in accordance with school policies and legal requirements
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote classroom participation and student engagement
- Engage in ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in school-based OT
