Qualifications & Experience:

• Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Valid state license (or eligibility) to work as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but similar clinical backgrounds considered
• Strong communication and organization skills
• A collaborative, flexible approach to working within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient, and creative outlook

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as prescribed by their IEP or 504 plan
• Assist with assessments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Adapt activities and environments to help students achieve functional and educational goals
• Support classroom staff through training, resources, and collaboration
• Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere to empower students of varying abilities
