What We Look For:
- Associates degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current national COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to student care
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Implement treatment plans designed to improve students fine motor, self-care, and adaptive skills
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and ongoing needs
- Support students in achieving their academic and functional goals within the classroom environment
- Adapt activities and educational materials to foster student participation and independence
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and consultations as required
