Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
  • Prior experience or fieldwork in school-based or pediatric settings is a plus

  • Knowledge of IEP process and adaptation of classroom activities
  • Organizational skills to document progress and maintain records accurately

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs and therapy goals
  • Support occupational therapists in evaluating students needs and progress
  • Adapt activities and materials to facilitate access and participation for all students
  • Engage students in therapeutic activities that improve fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
  • Participate in meetings and communicate updates to staff and families as needed
  • Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and thorough manner
