Job Description

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associates degree from an accredited COTA program required
  • Current COTA licensure in Idaho (or ability to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and a flexible approach to daily tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans under the guidance of a supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Assist students with a variety of needsfine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skillsto promote educational success
  • Document progress, observations, and interventions according to school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals
  • Participate in meetings and contribute insights for planning individualized interventions
  • Support classroom staff in utilizing inclusive practices and adaptive strategies
