Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting K-8 students across three school sites in the Hope, ME area. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact, working primarily with middle school-aged students in an engaging and supportive educational setting.

Youll split your time between three local schools: spending one full day at one site and a half day each at the other two, amounting to two days of work per week. Onsite supervision ensures continuous guidance and professional development, allowing you to confidently deliver high-quality occupational therapy services.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• Experience or interest in working with K-8th grade students, especially middle schoolers
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites in the area
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach
• Up-to-date with any required state and federal credentials for school-based therapy services

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy interventions as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Foster students independence and participation in daily school activities
• Document progress and maintain accurate student records in compliance with school and district policies
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and team members to support student success
• Adapt interventions to the individual needs of each student within K-8th grade
