Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Recent experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and school staff
  • Flexibility in managing various caseloads and adapting to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with a range of abilities and needs
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Implement intervention strategies to support students fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote students educational participation and engagement
