Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active licensure as a COTA in the state
• Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Ability to adapt interventions and activities for different learning styles and developmental levels
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and participation in student support meetings is a plus
• Up-to-date CPR certification and the ability to pass required background screenings

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Document and track student progress and participation
• Prepare and organize adaptive equipment and materials for therapy sessions
• Support students in developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care routines
• Participate in meetings with school staff and families to discuss progress and update goals
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for all students
