This full-time, onsite contract position is designed for an experienced COTA with a passion for helping young learners thrive. The assignment begins August 13, 2026, and concludes June 9, 2027, offering the chance to build collaborative relationships with students and staff throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in California
- Demonstrated school-based experience in occupational therapy services
- Comfortable and confident in an elementary school setting
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Ready for onsite work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM3:30 PM
- Committed to supporting the goals of students, teachers, and the broader educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to elementary-aged students
- Support student participation in classroom activities and routines
- Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, teachers, and other educational professionals
- Document progress, develop reports, and help adapt learning activities as needed
- Provide input during IEP meetings and assist with program planning
- Maintain compliance with all district and state guidelines
