Job Description

Step into a dynamic, contract role near Glendale, AZ, supporting student growth and well-being as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Collaborate with educators and provide targeted therapy for K-8th grade students, making a real difference every day. This full-time position offers a 35-hour workweek and the chance to impact multiple school sites.

Qualifications:

  • Active COTA license is required
  • Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Comfortable working with K-8th grade age groups
  • Able to serve a diverse caseload, adapting strategies for individual student needs
  • Strong organizational skills for data collection and documentation
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator with teachers and staff
  • Willingness to travel between school sites as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy treatment sessions and therapeutic support to students
  • Serve as a resource to educators, offering guidance and support for classroom needs
  • Assist in providing equipment and implementing assistive technology for student participation
  • Monitor and adjust therapy in response to each students unique needs and progress
  • Support accurate data collection and documentation of student outcomes
  • Travel between assigned sites to ensure consistent support for all students in your caseload
