Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Florida COTA license required
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
  • Willingness to serve students across the entire county
  • Strong communication and time-management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting school site needs
  • Ability to travel daily to multiple assigned school locations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to K12 students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administration, and school-based therapists to address students needs
  • Conduct direct therapy, assist in evaluations, and implement intervention plans
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation as required by school policies
  • Communicate therapy progress and goals clearly with families and educational staff
  • Adapt sessions for diverse student abilities, environments, and grade levels
