Preferred Qualifications:
- Current COTA certification and relevant WA state licensure
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings (strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of special education processes and IEPs
- Ability to collaborate with OTs, educators, and families
- Familiarity with a variety of disabilities and student support needs
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct therapeutic occupational therapy services under OT supervision as outlined in students IEPs
- Conduct small group and one-on-one sessions focused on fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Support student participation in classroom routines and social/emotional activities
- Accurately document services and progress notes in accordance with school and district policies
- Communicate progress and strategies with teachers, staff, and families
- Participate actively in team meetings and IEP reviews
