Job Description
Step into a dynamic onsite role supporting K-12 students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. In this full-time, contract position, youll collaborate closely with educators and therapists to help students achieve their best, fostering independence and success in their learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Oklahoma COTA license
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt strategies to meet a diverse range of student needs
- Passion for improving student outcomes through occupational therapy support
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students across K-12 grade levels
- Carry out activities and interventions designed to meet students occupational therapy goals
- Monitor student progress and document sessions according to school and district protocols
- Communicate regularly with teachers, therapists, and parents to maximize each students potential
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for student success
