Sunbelt is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team and provide occupational therapy services to students in a school-based setting in Peoria, Illinois.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities based on student needs and IEP goals
- Support students in developing functional skills related to fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, and families as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Document services and maintain accurate student records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress updates as appropriate
- Provide services in accordance with district requirements and applicable state regulations
Qualifications
- Current COTA certification
- Active Illinois COTA license
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and multidisciplinary teams

Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $46.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
