A contract position is available for two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to support K-12 students in Douglasville, GA. This role focuses on providing occupational therapy services within a school setting, assisting children to develop skills necessary for academic and daily living success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans.
- Document and report student progress accurately and timely.
- Participate in meetings related to individualized education programs (IEPs) and student development.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to therapy services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia COTA license required.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within a school environment.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Douglasville, GA.
- Full-time contract role, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week.
