Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth and success as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to collaborate closely with an Occupational Therapist, school staff, and a diverse range of students from PreK through high school, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana COTA license and certification (as outlined by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency)
  • Previous pediatric experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and supporting individualized student goals
  • Reliable personal vehicle required for travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursed)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with school staff, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute Occupational Therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising OTR
  • Complete required documentation promptly and accurately
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging therapy activities and materials
  • Work collaboratively with school personnel to monitor and support students occupational therapy progress
  • Contribute to a positive educational environment by adapting to student needs and fostering inclusion
  • Carry out duties as assigned by the OTR
