Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team in Corona, CA.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a COTA looking for a full-time school-based position where you can work alongside experienced Occupational Therapists and directly support students in reaching their goals.

What You'll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy support to students under the direction and supervision of OTs.
  • Assist Occupational Therapists with upcoming student assessments.
  • Support students with individualized occupational therapy goals and activities.
  • Help implement therapeutic strategies and interventions.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the OT and school team.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and related service providers.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and follow school and district procedures.

Position Details

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Start: ASAP
  • End Date: June 4, 2027
  • Assignment: 1 school
  • Student population/disabilities: To be determined based on assignment
  • School site: Assigned after the interview process
  • The district will make an effort to take the candidate's location into consideration when determining the school assignment.

Qualifications

  • Active California COTA License required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
  • Passion for supporting students and helping them reach their full potential.
